L2L (Learn to Learn) - A two-year international project focused on the competency of learning to learn.

01.11.2009 - 31.10.2010

Development of a concrete approach and new methodology. Seven organisations came together within a European network to draft, carry out and analyse innovative approaches in the field of informal learning of adults (and young adults) in order to develop the "Learn to Learn" competency (knowledge, skills, points of view) that allows the students to plan, organise, carry out and evaluate their learning, especially by using self-guided learning. The project deals with the "Learn to Learn" competency as the key part of lifelong learning and aims to help the educational staff by providing and developing the competencies and methodologies necessary to fulfil this concept of learning.

The network consists of: IKAB (Institute for Applied Communication Research in Non-formal Education) – Germany; Pame Ambro (Going Forward) – Italy; LIJNA (Association of Youth Non-formal Education) - Lithuania; TiPovej! (Institute for Creative Society) – Slovenia; Institute of Educational Sciences at the University of Innsbruck – Austria; EUROACCION – Spain; UNIQUE (United for Innovation and Quality in Education) – a European network joining all of the abovementioned organisations.

The event in Slovenia: Seminar for coaches and hosts will take place between 7 and 14 July.

Support: The EU Grundtvig programme, lifelong learning sub-programme
